I actually really liked Kyra's original cone shaped head, but only at certain angles. When viewing her from the side the big eye and shape made her look extra cute. However in practice, I found that her head shape made every other viewing angle awkward.

Over the years I've been tweaking her design here and there as I make her more "real" in my head. While I also don't want her nose to be a stub just tacked on, something in between the two not only looks great but is easier to realize in 3D space.

As for the last panel, which I thank you for your comments, I think it might be the shading which is what I feel turned out the best. Paul needs to be in a dim TV lit room more.
