With the Poke in the Mon

So far I haven’t been too particularly interested in the upcoming Pokemon Black/White games.  Lately I’ve realized how they’re just remaking the same games over and over again.  While I still have hope for a few new features in the new ones, I couldn’t help but notice something about one of the three new starters -

Coincidence? I … think so!

Seriously though, why is it I’ve always like the design of the plant starters?

Update 5-18-10
Guess what!  I have discovered what the final evolved forms of these three new Pokemon look like!  They might be a bit more … interesting then you’d expect.  You have been warned.  Take a look HERE if you dare.

oh god another pokemon game? Seriously the starting pokemon become more horrible each time. Blue, red and green had epic starting pokemon. Silver and Gold were also still quite good, especialy the end evolutions. But after that it just went downhill with the looks of the pokemon :(

They almost did pretty well with these new pokemon. A grass dinosaur? Awesome. Some sort of dirt pig? Alright. An ice beaver holding a seashell? What? I guess the big decider will be the final evolved forms. Hmmm, perhaps I’ll need to make another picture of those.

Hey, you never know, Black and White could actually have some significant changes we don’t know about yet.

But they are just another batch of DS games so who knows. I love Pokemon so I’ll most likely buy one of em, even if it is more of the same. I love it!

If anything, lets hope for 3DS Pokemon getting a complete overhaul. That would be awesome, and much needed…

I’m still holding out that Black/White will also be coming out for the 3DS too, either being a second set of games or it’ll go 3D in that system. I mean, it would be the greatest Nintendo move ever. Launch your next handheld system with the newest Pokemon game? Crazy! We’ll just have to find out next month at E3.
