And so begins a new story-arc. I’ve always had arcs in this comic, only I started defining them better this year. The last one started with Kyra learning about friendship, libraries and learning. Oddly enough almost all the comics since January have been a regular old Thursday. Well the last stories were about Kyra realizing she needs to learn, and this one we’ll see what ends up happening.
I’ve been thinking about making a second archive page just to divide up the arcs and plots and stories. Actually doing it will require some thinking thoughts.

Also i'm confused…is it, or is it not, time for work? The sun says it is, then he says it might as well be, which confused me because i'm pretty sure it is after what he says next about early morning shifts and what-not.
It is time for work, thus Paul has on his work clothes. The "might as well be" he's referring to is the sun brightly telling him to get up. It would be clearer if Paul would've said "The sun might as well be …" but less is more!

She normally wouldn't be. However there's two factors here that are resulting in her drool, which are A) she's sleeping in an awkward position and B) it's funny.
What type of voice would the sun have? Like a hillbilly accent? British accent? Sean Connery accent?

@TheOregonian: I see it as "Gooooood-MorningVietnam!"-style Robin Williams too. Maybe because I am British, hence am not going to impose what is for me a totally everyday and boring accent onto this spectacular sun.
